Things people track anyway
Tasks, expenses, journal entries, and calendar events are things most people already try to keep track of - usually across three or four different apps, or a notes app that's turned into a junk drawer. Bringing them into one simple place seemed like a genuinely useful starting point.
Reminders that respect your device
Local reminders tie it together - a way to make sure a task or event with a deadline doesn't just sit quietly in a list. Because they're scheduled on your device rather than sent from a server, they work the same way your device's other notifications do, and depend on the same permissions and settings.
What comes next
We'd rather ship a focused V1 well than promise a long roadmap up front. If we build more, we'll be clear about what's actually available versus what's still in progress.
